What are your thoughts on these results? Do you believe them or not based on your experience and here at CHS? What does CHS need to do to educate and prevent these statistics from being so high?

I think its terrible that all these young people is doing such bad things. I'm 15 and I'm not involved in none of these kinds of things. So I'm proud of my self. I believe them because there is alot of you girls getting pregnant. So I think if CHS tries to prevent these kind of things it wont help so there is no use in trying.

Confidentiality

What do you think about knowing your friends' passwords -- school login, myspace, email, etc? Would you share your information with anyone else? What are the risks involved?

I don't really care about knowing none of my friends passwords. I wouldn't share my information so i wouldn't want them to share theirs with me. They could go on my stuff and mess it up or they could talk to somebody and have me in a lot of drama. They also could charge some stuff on my account.

Free Write

Well I really don't have anything to write about. So I guess I will write about my weekend. This weekend I really don't have anything planned yet. I will probably go hang out with my cousins like every other weekend. Maybe we will do something fun.

30 Year Anniversary of Jonestown

This event happened way before your time...and mine, but it was a horrible tragedy. Use the net to research this day. Who was Reverend Jim Jones? What happened?

Reverend Jim Jones was an American founder of the Peoples Temple. November 18, 1978 death of over 900 Temple members in Jonestown, Guyana along with the deaths of nine other people at a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown. He was born in Indiana and started the Temple in that state in the 1950s. To the extent the actions in Jonestown were viewed as a mass suicide, it is one of the largest such mass suicides in history.

Future Business Owner

If you could start your own business tomorrow, what would it be? My choice is simple. I would enroll in a culinary institute and complete a degree in Pastry & Baking. Then, I would open my own speciality cake & gourmet dessert shops. For now, I just have to keep dreaming... :) I love teaching and being around all of you all, but I'm not sure it's my absolute passion. I think I would be happiest owning my own business.

UhMm... I don't really know rite now what kind of business I would open.

What are your thoughts on this very odd story?

I think it's good that the old lady could and wanted to help them. The babies are very cute. I think it's going to be weird if they tell the kids when they get older that their grandmother had them. I would have got tested to see if I had a disease or something before i put the eggs and stuff inside of me.

weekend

I didn't slow down all weekend. Being the one in charge of my church's fall festival, I spent every free minute Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at church. I am tired and ready for the Holidays! What did you do this past weekend?

Friday I was gone go to the game but my little cousins wanted to go to the fun place so my cousin Brittany could see her boyfriend. So I went with them and it was so boring. Then Saturday I went to to eat with my mother. When we got home I went to Brittany's house. We went walking. Then went back to my house and played with my little cousin's Jayla and Abel. Sunday I went back to Brittany's house and we played baseball with my other cousin's Drew and Adam and their friend.

Electoral versus Popular Vote

What are your thoughts on the electoral vote? Is it a fair system?
For example, since McCain won in Georgia, the votes of those in Georgia that voted for Obama didn't count. The same goes for those in Virginia that voted for McCain.By the way, I am disheartened at the election results (I will support my moral values regardless of the economy and race.), but .... SO glad we can finally quit hearing all this political hype. I'm ready for there to be real news instead of election banter. This should be the last political blog for awhile. =) I am very excited that both Saxby Chambliss (R) and Jack Kingston (R) both won in the Senate and House!

I think its good that he is our first black president. I just don't like what he thinks about abortion and that kind of thing. I also don't like the fact that he is Democrat.
